So im my senior year of high school and i want to live it up. I've been with this girl for well over a year, and i for real love her. She's been there for me whenver i needed her, especially last winter. I overshot a 70 foot jump snowbaording and fell 60 feet out of the air to flat ground. My brain was bleeding in two places, i broke my hand, crakced my eye socket, was in ICU for 6 days, had no memory of anything for 2 weeks after i hit the ground and about an hour before it, missed alomst 2 monthes of school, and Jess (my girlfirend) was there everyday in the hospital and came over everyday after school. We have so much fun together, and we only fight over stupid "he said, she said" high school stuff.

The point of this is, i want to lvie up my high school while i can. I've been thinking so much lately, and sometimes she doesnt want me going to parties she cant go to, or hanging out with girls she knows i think are hot, and i understand. But it doesnt change the fact that im not doing what i want to do. I want to be free and do what i want. She lets me skateboard whenever i want, and this is the most important thing in my life. I'm sponsored for skateboarding, and she understands this. She ice skates all the time, and i never complain about how much time she spends on that. We love each other alot, and the only reason i would break up with her is so i can hang out/get with other girls. That sounds really bad, but i just want to be free for my last year of high school. I dont want to leave her, but i want to be able to party whenver i want, and chill with any girl i want. No worries, don't have to spend most of my paycheck on dates, etc. But i dont want to leave her, I love her with all my heart......what should i do? [&:]

If you really care about her then stay with her... I wanted to "live up" my senior year too and get with all the girls that had a thing for me. I decided not to, and I stayed with my gf and im glad I did, cuz she does my homework like a champ lol, jk. I know how you feel, you just gotta figure out whats more important, staying with the girl that was with you everyday in the hospital, or partying like its 1998.

Stick with her. I was in a similar situation and let the girl go. I kid you not, it's haunted me everyday since.

 

its up to you and what your heart tells you to do. i dont know what i would do cause i have never been in the same situation as you have. i had a g/f all through high school, but then we broke up before college. best thing that happened to me because i met the girl of my dreams and i love her with all my heart.

 

Dude you are not in love. You're in high school, you're a teenager and if you were with a different person next week you'd "love" them too... If you were really in love you would let HER do anything she wants and let her dictate what is appropriate for you. I am married and have realized that when I met her in college 2 years ago that I was feeling the same thing ESPECIALLY not looking to be married. But I knew she was the one and I gave up EVERYTHING to be with her.

Now I am married and I HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED... do everything with HER (dont have sex before you're married though, that causes issues, kids) because once you are married she is part of you. If you can stand to be away from her for a night out, that is a pretty clear sign you are just not mentally ready for the big stuff... be a kid and just see the world, you'll be happier when you and her get all your craziness out and be happy and who knows, get married! +1 High school is a one-time thing... enjoy it (but don't get into trouble...) because you have the rest of your life to find "the one" ... and enjoy the time together... if it's really meant to be... it'll happen. If you regret her not letting you do things you want, now... you'll regret them later (especially if things don't work out)...
