i dun understand how alcohol can be legal and marijuana isnt. not that i care cuz i dont smoke but i do find it kinda strange..happy 420 to anyone who actully participates in it...lol

well...

1) marijuana is never going to be leaglized for recreational use nation wide because, as its been proven in the past, legalizing things that were once illegal is almost impossible because everyone in the government have lived all their lives with the drug illegal and a lot of them consider it immoral to legalize something theyve looked down upon all their lives. plus with all the marijuana growth and dealers out there...it will be impossible to be able to establish a market for it. really about 4 out of 5 batches are laced with something. the tax money it would take to fish out bad suppliers would be way more than its worth..not to mention weeding out (haha...weeding out...get it?) the bad suppliers in foreign countries. and...

2) alcohol will never be made illegal because A) prohibition never works because there will be huge riots and illegal smuggling and B) our economy is to fixed on alcohol and tobacco for tax money. honestly enough the states tax it to death. almost 75% of the money you put down for your smokes or beer goes towards taxes.

prohibition never works. neither does legalization.

 

What about things that were legal, like marijuana in the first decades of the 20th century, that are illegal now?

Where are you getting this information? I find four out of five a little tough to believe. Just curious.

 

Booze is legal because of prohibition.........thats all.........marijuana was deemed illeagle bcuz of the mexicans.......its a long story.......ask your history teacher.

I love how theres always got to be a few people that get all high and mighty because they're drug free. Yeah, I partake from time to time, so what? What the hell do you care what I do in the privacy of my own home? I don't approve of liking german cars, but I dont give you a hard time about it now do I?!?

i dont smoke cuz of a collapsed lung from a car accident...but i am deathly sick this week and i missed school on april 20th i bet that looks really well!

 

i really dont care what you do in the privacy of your home. but running around saying yay 420. lets all get blazed!!! yay!! isnt really privet. is it?

im pretty sure theres no german car day wher we all skip school to be cool or scream out some numbers to get attention. so that comparison is void.
