Yeah, the AKA rally looks like a bust. We should get a HCF Gumball team together... wait no, it's mad spensive. Plus they don't drive nearly enough in a day, I could beat these rallies across the country without a co driver by a week.

But yeah... the dragon should pretty reasonable. Canada people can meet Forty in Mich or meet up with us Western New Yorkers then we can meet up somewhere in Penn or whatever with Pete from Jersey then pick up Remmy in SC etc etc. NY to the dragon isn't a bad drive... I'd probably want to leave around 5 or 6 PM and we'd get there mid morning the next day, pass out for a couple hours then slay the dragon.

(I'm just assuming that the people listed would be going)

 

My travel plans are probably going to differ from most peoples.. I think my buddy Jon with his GTI is going to head to my house on Thursday morning. Lori and I will have Friday and probably the following MOnday off work. We will leave Thursday afternoon/evening, travel for a bit then crash in a hotel. Get up early friday and finish the trip, then meet up with whoever is going to be down there, get some grub and drinks, and just chill. Then spend Saturday at the Dragon, and head back some time on Sunday.

 

if the dragon is in NC, thats an easy drive for me and my "Crew" is the dragon just like a "touge run" or whatever? if so, im down, tell me where to meet you guys so that i can meet up with a group....its only like 8-10 hr drive from my house...but i dont know where at in N/C.

I like the dragon idea better, i could spend that $1,700 on alot better things than driving....lol

Turtle, if we start in Canada, with only the Canadian HCF memeber,s then we pick check points along the way to meet up and add cars to our group, when we set a checkpoint near Ohio, you join the rally. The same goes for people coming up from the south, and at the end, both groups meet at the Dragon.

 

yea, meeting up in Ohio wouldn't be so bad for me either...its not that far from where I live...

 

I'll be coming down through Ohio, but like I said, it would most likely be on Thursday night.
