i am a driver, and i like it...but i do understang his points..but with the lack of exterior modding...and, of course, the sunfire...

yeah, i understand most of that, but personally, i like the slow progression of the game. that you have to keep going back. it makes you a better driver to have to keep practicing, getting a little faster each time, instead of just getting a super fast car an hour into the game.

Ok...so it's not THAT bad of a game. Put another 3 hours into it, because I didn't want the money to go to waste...picked up a Skyline GT-R V-spec N1...stock it ate the tires off the lancer I was running before. 'Soon as I picked it up, dropped some mods on it, started picking up 5 times more cash than I was with the Mitsu. Just need some patience and free time.

Oh, and yes, I am aware of the fact that the Sunfire is a Cavvie clone...which is another reason for why I hate that damn Cavalier so much.

Hehe I sorta did that. Not including the time it took me to get my licenses, it only took me about an hour to get a fully build WRX STi. I was running close to 500hp, and a low 9's quarter mile. Then I found out that you can do the second tournament in that one menu and win some rally car that sells for about 250,000 credits. Now I've got the WRX, a Pontiac GTO with close to 800hp that tops out at around 250mph, a 350Z concept with around 850hp that's done the quarter mile in 8.91, and a Cadillac Cien (I think that's what it's called) with 1023hp that tops out around 270. Right now I'm saving up for the Gillet just to see how that car works out. It comes stock with close to 900hp. Oh, and if you want to get some extra power out of a car you just bought, change the oil before you ever drive it and it adds like 20hp.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and the trick to gettin a fast car at the beginning is to buy a used car. I think I got the WRX for about 13,000.

Holy smokes. I just got the Gillet and wow that thing is fast. I bumped up the hp to over 1000, and so far the fastest I've gone is 290.89mph. Haven't done the 1/4 yet, but I'm going to in just a bit. It's probably going to be in the mid 8's though.

EDIT: Just did the 1/4 mile in the Gillet, and the best I could get was 8.9. It would be a lot better, but I could not get any traction. As soon as I hit the nitro, the wheels would start spinning and the rpm's would shoot up, but the tcs would bring them back down real quick. And I even had the super soft tires. So the 8.9 is with no nitro until about mid 4th gear.

oh hell yes! i have this beastly midnight blue R-34. things rediculously fast. i like that game so much more than the underground series. just seems more authentic to me for some reason. i still have yet to pick up gt4

Thats what i did, thats one of the better features of the game. As for body kits, i don't know...this way more about tuning and driving than kits, graphics, and wings (thats what nfs Underground is for).
