the ice rally drives me nuts...that is the most frustrating issue that i have found thus far...the off-road events, ice and dirt, are MUCH harder than they were on GT3...however, once you get a nice fast car..like, say you win a race car, go to the special events, and they have these 2 lap events, agaisnt one other car, through cities...it is fairly easy, but when you hit the other car, or the walls, your ignition dies for 5 seconds...so it really helps train you on tight cornering...nd you win a car for every other race you win!

i have tried everything from fully built, to completely stock...all of my 4wd cars...with no success...either i cant get any traction...or i dont have enough power to keep up...i tried doign all sorts of things to the suspension..so on...with no luck...there has to be some trick to it...but the whole "5 second penalty" is a feature that i am really bothered by...there are no 5 second penalties in real racing, and this is supposed to be the ultimate driving simulator....

yeah, but just hauling *** and bouncing off of walls isnt realistic either. i havent even tried the dirt/ice stuff. can i do it yet? or do i need a certain percentage?

i think you can do it whenever you want...but i would look into the dryland rallys...pretty easy with a stout car...and there are different levels of competition...big money to be won, and for every 2 races in a group that you win, you get a car!

yeah, i can do it whenever i want, but i gotta buy tires. have you tried a truck in the rallys?

and on the review subject, i wasnt sure about the nitrous, until i started using it. i like how realistic it is, its not like most games where you get this huge blurring rush of speed, and you only get like 2-3 shots out of a bottle.
