Fastest car on the game is the Toyota GT-One Race Car, it will dismantle the indy-cars on straight aways and if you know how to use it can keep up with em in turns. I went 328mph on the test track with one on the bottle.

Get a Skyline GTR V-SPEC II or the WRX STi rally car (can be won in the one make races for Subaru). Those are two very fast cars when they are fully modified. Yea the Pikes Peak car is only good for a couple things.
1. 1/4 mile passes(400m)
2. 1000m passes
3. In stock form as a rally car
when you add all that power it gets out of wack and is no good even on rally races IMO

I've been racing the chaparal 2d and it seems pretty quick. 6:26 on the ring with it.
LOL, that pikes peak car is a joke when you start modding it... it's insane.
