WooHoo! Now I can site on the HCF all night at home! My old computer is like 7 years old and is so outdated it's not even funny!

Just got the new Dell E1705....Only had an hour to play with it and I had to run back to work but man is she fffffast!

 

not a mac [X(]..

 

he'll wish he had one in, oh, about 5 seconds. lol.

 

I looked at the mac but it would have been $800 more for the same computer with a smaller screen. I picked this one up at the right time...20% off. Had the most bang for the buck of all the units I looked at.

 

im a windows guy through and through. but OS doesnt make as much of a difference if whats inside the computer is crap. id rather have a mac with good hardware than a windows wiht crappy hardware.

 

the new mac has the same processor as my Dell...anyway, I like mack but I had a set amount to spend and I felt this was the best route to go for the money

 

800$ what mac wwere u looking at..and what crap pc did u buy that was that cheep. thats the exact quality your gonna get.


and ill put $100 down that its not the same computer. not even talking about the software advantage.

windows people are funny..they dont realize they will be paying for more in the end.


why not just sell your civic and buy a cheep korean car then..since its cheeper and all.

 

dell E1705 vs MacBook Pro. The dell with a larger monitor and better graphics card was just under $1800. The Mac priced out at $2400. Sorry guess it was $600 difference. Same processor, same memory, same RPM hard drive.

for $600 with better graphics card and larger monitor and the included TV tuner I'll take the dell all day long...I'M IN NOW WAY BASHING MAC...I just was happy about getting my new PC and did not creat this post did get into a flame session on what PC is better. opinions vary....my decision was based on the amount of $$$ I had to spend and the numerious reviews I read.

 

until the day i die, i will NEVER buy a brand name PC... i will stick with my "clones"... the only beand name i will buy if a Mac... buy a dell would be ok if your just going to use it to surf the net
