Dangit! I got my first ticket in my Si a few days ago. I hadnt even been pulled over yet, which was strange cause I used to get pulled over in my Eclipse all the time. And my Civ is red and kinda loud. I dunno. Anyway, I went to pick my brother up, and him and his friends were trying to get me to smoke weed, and I kept saying no. (thank goodness I didnt give into peer pressure!) So Im tryin to hurry and bring my brother home and get to my work before it closed, and this stupid dodge ram cuts me off, so I admit, I was riding his ***. Then he brake checked me, and I was already pissed that he cut me off, so I rode his *** even more. Then, stupid me, checked my rear view and noticed the Ford lights behind me. It was gettin dark so I couldnt tell for sure if it was a cop, and just as I was about to get over to go to the gas station he puts his lights on. It was awful. I didnt have my license with me cause I left it in a friends car after a long nite of clubbing not to long ago. So he has me get out and gets all my info and calls it in. Then for some insane reason he has me do wat I thought was a regular sobriety test. (he checked my eyes, my mouth, had my tilt my head back, close my eyes and estimate 30 seconds, and then took my pulse). I told him I would take a breathalyzer if and he goes, "I dont think youre drunk, youre showing signs of methamphetamine use." I seriously like freaked out. I told him I would take any kinda DNA test he could give me cause Ive never used drugs in my entire life. He was such a jerk about it. And was accusing. So then, he searches my whole car, and I gave him permission to search the glove compartment and trunk. Of course I didnt have anything. But my brother had smoked weed, so he got arrested for under the influence. Then after like a half hour of me sitting on the curb, freezing my *** off, and crying, the cop tries to act like hes being nice by writing me a following too closely ticket. Like hes doing me a favor or something. I was so mad, cause I dont do drugs and I didnt wanna be treated like I do. UGH! Livermore cops can be such dicks! And this sucks cause I have had one ticket. And it was only about a year ago, so I cant go to traffic school for this one. Looks like my insurance will be goin up. I will admit tho, I deserved the ticket, but I didnt deserve everything else.

Anyway, sorry for complaining for so long, I was just mad and didnt get a chance to vent about it before.

 

I dont do drugs and every time Ive been pulled over I was treated like im a super stoner or something. Never got a ticket though.

i got my civic last july and i got 4 parking tickets in 6 weeks LOL
life sucks

 

a san mateo cop stopped me, hassled me for a while , then as i was leaving with the ticket, he says nice car...i have one like it. [:@]

 

what if he found a seed in your ride? dont let the 5-0 search your ride. and never say sorry cause thats admiting something.

 

I didnt have anything in my car. It was kinda dumb tho, cause they need a warant to search the glove compartment and trunk if theyre locked. And after I told him he could search both, I remembered my brother had a duffel bag with clothes in it in the trunk. Thank goodness my brother didnt have anything in his bag. I wouldnt have had a seed or anything like that. [sm=innoc.gif]

I was just thankful the cop didnt start buggin me about the car too. Like any mods, he didnt have me pop my hood or anything like that..which i heard a lot of them do. And Ntx, that sucks. This cop didnt even compliment me on my car haha.

 

Actually i think that the cop doesn't have a right to search any part of your car (some1 posted a "your rights" thing a while back). I prolly wouldn't consent to a search b/c you can pretty much only lose if you do. If he asks you to search the car and you say no, what could he do? He could get pissed and write you a ticket, but he did that anyway.

 

cops have pulled me over for a hood check. he wouldnt have found anything but i still said no. its my right

 

K Ill admit this..I try and act cool, and in control around ppl, but when it comes to getting pulled over, I turn into that sweet little girl that my dad remembers me as. Im not gonna lie either, it has gotten me outta tickets. My friend is such a B**** when she gets pulled over, and always get tickets. Ive been pulled over SO many times, and this is my second ticket. Might sound bad, but I cant really afford even more expensive insurance.

 

I just don't get pulled over.
