been asking some questions on some 240 forum. Might go with Ca18 or the Sr20det. Those two motors are the best IMO. Just have to find a different job that pays enough for me to get that motor this summer and work it during the rest of the year. hopefully all goes well. Time for me to learn many new things. Does anybody have any tips on body work?

are you gonna do all the work your self, or have your grandpa help you, with the body work and stuff of that nature?

Body work is a bitch. For the rust spot, make sure you get all rust out and weld in metal in its place. Don't bondo over it b/c that will prolly fall out. For the scratches you could prolly sand down the paint, fill with bondo and paint it. For the dents you prolly wanna pull those out with a slide hammer. Make sure to take your time, body work is very labor intensive so you can do a really good job if you spend some time on it.

Its pretty much a big metal stick with a sliding handle on it. You attach the door panel to the end of the stick and yank on the handle as hard as you can. This action will pull the dent out. Another place they are used is to pull the axles out of the differential in a solid axle. Do you know if you can use the engine out of an old sentra and convert it to an SR20DET? I know that the engine out of the old sentra is a SR20DE and should be significantly cheaper than an SR20DET.
