For the honeymoon, just do something all inclusive. Lori and I went to Jamaica this past January and it was an absolute blast. Walking around in swimwear with no reason to carry any cash/cards. Eat where you want, when you want, and all the free top shelf liqours you can drink! It cost us about $2300 for five days five nights. And thats the cost for both of us, not each, Sandals FTW

My wife and I stayed at JW Marriott in cancun.... absolutely incredible... there is also the CasaMagna Marriott hotel right next to it, it is cheaper but still an amazing hotel with an INCREDIBLE pool. It all depends on what you're hoping to spend, though... you can get a really good all-inclusive deal for CasaMagna for 3500 and that is for 9 days which is a steal! The best part is that you can also use the same facilities as the JW Marriott (except interchange your meals).... I know it is a great deal because I planned our next vacation to CasaMagna for August 19th this coming summer....
For christmas I had surprised her with a cruise we were going to take just a couple weeks ago but we had to cancel the whole thing because of a family member (my grandma is dying)... but I am making it up to her by taking us back to Cancun. Way nice place and the lobby alone in both the JW and CasaMagna are enough to blow your mind

Long overdue update to this...we're still happily married! She lets me use the garage all the time except for winter, so we haven't had any major arguements! hahaha! We're planning a later honeymoon to Hawaii/Guam/maybe Japan later so lots more fun ahead. Well...that's all!
