Gawd i wish i had money
my neighbor has a 92 integra and told me i can have it for 800 bucks he just really needs the money. i figured if i could get it i'd just pull the engine and trans ans do a swap to my civic. then part out the integra and what ever is left junk then sell my d" series engine and trans... but i dont have the $$ to buy it.. it seems i always find really good deals when i dont have $$
i know the car and its worth way more. but he just needs some $$ quick so he dont car to sell cheap. HCF members donate to help me out lol. i figured by me selling most of the stuff and my old engine and trans i could make back most of the money.. and it has the 17's from my sig on it. that i could also sell

Join the club. I never find deals when I have money to spend like I find when I'm strapped for cash. There's literally 7 EGs that have been posted on craigslist in the last 2 days for under $2k. But as it is I don't even have enough money for groceries at the moment (moving to a new state sucks). Oh, and I found a cobra independent rear suspension on ebay for $800 + shipping; the total would've probably been around $1k, and it's literally a bolt-on affair. The going price? Usually over $1k + shipping. Oh, and when I don't have $500 sitting around? Yeah, that's when everybody decides to sell their ultra-rare OEM 99/01 cobra front bumpers. Bumpers that are normally impossible to find since everyone snatches them up as soon as someone decides to get rid of one. The best part? No aftermarket company makes a replacement for the bumper, so I can't even get a knockoff oem bumper.
But I digress.... yeah, you usually find the best deals when you're poor.
Why I hate not having money in the bank set aside for when I find deals:
-7 civics on CL with posting dates going back 2 days for $2k or under
-7 s13 240sx's on CL in the last month for under $2k. Average price? $1260.
-SVT Cobra IRS on eBay for $200 less than they normally go for
-OEM Saleen sail panels currently for sale on SVTPerformance. These sh*ts are rarer than a picture of jesus on a unicycle playing banjo while juggling the holy grail and the magna carta
-3 OEM 99/01 cobra front bumpers for sale on SVTP. Like I said before, these things are about as rare as dinosaur sh*t.
-Did I mention the 5 BMW M3's on CL right now? All of them either E36's or E46's. You know, my two realistic dream cars? (Atlantis Blue E36 M3 and a Laguna Seca Blue E46 M3... those exact cars aren't for sale, but that's beside the point)

how much do you think i could make back out of parting out the entire car except motor, trans, axles, ecu. im thinking of going and getting a loan but i dont wanna be stuck with having to pay alot back. it also has the 17's in my sig on it with brand new tires. oh and selling my complete d15z1 with tranny

Honestly, I don't know. It really depends on how much you want to part it out. If you're willing to do a complete part-out including the rolling chassis, you could be talking $2k+. But that extensive of a part-out would take pretty much forever. I'd advertise on CL and different forums. Here, obviously, and definitely HT.

Honestly, I don't know. What color is the interior? A black interior will go for more than a tan interior. Wheels, you're looking around $300-$400 for aftermarket 17's, even with new tires (wheels depreciate as soon as you buy them).
Expect no more than $300-$400 for the engine/trans. Z6 and Y8 longblocks usually go for about that price, and usually no more than $500 with transmission.

Oh, he could absolutely make $800 without trying. The key is to know what to pull off for individual sale and you have to know if you want to sell a rolling chassis or a shell (yes, there's a difference. A rolling shell has all the body parts, and is just missing the engine/trans. A rolling chassis doesn't necessarily have every body part). Rolling shells usually go for $600+ depending on condition and what exactly it is (obviously a true CTR shell will go for way more than a 5th gen USDM Si hatch shell).
