OK, this is not a race of any sorts, but it made me laugh my *** off. So i was heading home from work, and i cruising with my windows down. Most people when they see me driving in uniform back off, but these guys didn't. The first car was a beat up mid 90's eclipse with full ricer mods (falling apart bodykit, grapefruit shooter exhaust, one side panel grey while the rest was a rusting baby blue) and the second car was a early 90's celica with decals, exhaust, and dirty as hell. I was driving along doing about 70-75mph, and this car comes up behind me and merges into the right lane and pulls up beside me. Anyways, he gives some horrible sounding revs and then takes off. He wasn't accelerating that fast and i knew he had it floored, so i am guessing it was a GS. He then pulls up besides me again and does the same thing. I start laughing at the two guys who looked like they came from the trailer park of deep south AL. They take off again, and so does the celica. Of course they are being D-bags and cutting people off and stuff, Sooo a couple miles down the road i see the celica go into the emergancy lane. As i pass, i see Mr. Ricer in the blue eclipse step outta his car and open the hood. I then see a small plume of smoke come out of his engine. So i just honk my horn and wave at the jackasses. Good Times!!!
PS- i really wanted to floor it and put them in there place, but i am done doing anything on the streets, and i keep it on the track. (not saying it wasn't hard though, lol)

 

hahaha i love stuff like that. I know im in a civic, but ive had kids in geo metro's with exhausts TRY to do the same thing

 

Yea i had no intention on racing, but this guy was trying hard toget me to bite. He should have thought hard about being hard on that eclipse, especially since they are known for thier awsome reliability, lol!

 

ahahahaha i've had basically the same exact thing happen. some of the RDR crew was driving to get some crub after a meet. some dude in a beat upold gen integra blowing white smoke outa the exhaust decided to catch up with us on the highway and try to mess with us. he came flying up behind us, revving his engine, cutting ppl off, swerving back and forth from lanes and almost ramming one of my team mates EP3. well my team mate with a swapped turbo MR2 decided he had enough and when the traffic cleared and just completely walked him. i was back a lil bit when i see them going at it and i see the hazzards for the teg go on, a crap load of smoke and smelled like ***,and see it pull to the median real fast. i could not stop laughing all night. it was great hahahaha. turns out he blew his motor. dumbass deserved it, apparently not many ppl like this kid.

If i were u guys I would have stopped and talked to him, and made fun of him... lol and asked him about his SWEET ride

 

I would have, but i was ready to get home and see the wife and kids.
