a friend of mine met me at the local sonic saturday night and requested my help. he said he needed help unloading his "new" car...... So i asked him what he bought now, and he replied, " a ferrari." Confused and laughing at his reply i said then show me a pic. he whiped out a folder of information about the car. it was a pontiac fiero that had been converted to look like a ferrari testarossa. it really does look like a ferrari from about 5 feet away, it has a 350 chevy put into it, and a full new interior. he bought this for only 1000 bucks. why cant i find stuff like that?

 

theres obviously some sort of problem with it....

Someone wouldn't go through all that work and money to sell it for a grand unless there was.

 

theres no problem with it other than the starter is fried, he has a new replacement already. theres a few cracks in the paint, but thats not bad caus he does paint and body. its got fully adjustable suspension, 3k dumped into the motor swap, 3k for the conversion, and 500 for the transmission build up. the guy got rid of it cause he now has three kids and his friend bought a mustang and put that car out in the yard........ i guess it was just a perfect timing kind of thing

 

thats a common thing people do to fieros, they put a ferrari kit on them. they look decent.

 

this story sounds all too familar. lol. My freind just got a 76 jaguar towed to his house for the tow charges and a grand to the owner whosaid "it was crap he bouht i modified and is hasnt worked since" It has a 350 chevy in it completely redone, the insside is all custom, it has wicked nice exhaust and my freind cleaned it up and replaced the starterr and the thing runs liek beast its so sick. the previous owner is trying to buy it back now. lol. you can find deals liek that if your lucky but it always seems like soemone else is and you never do.
