i think some rangers have 2 plugs per cylinder. but yeah, just because its a mustang engine, doesnt mean its got a lot of power.

yea that looks like his truck its 93 ford 4 speed manual 4 cylinder 2 plugs per cylinder. so i told him histruck has 98 horse power. umm yea its not sinking in. i cant prove it cause my printer aint working but he said: wow are u sure? it has ***** if it nly has 98 hp. but still he said: nah your wrong it cant be. i dont really care anymore. but yea i really cant race him anyway. i have an 89 honda civic std 4 speed manual 71 whp. all stock im trying to get z6 engine in it. but i think i could still take him. what do u think?

 

All I will say is the Ranger has the aerodynamics of a brick and weighs almost twice as much as your Civic. Either way you look at it even if you do beat him, its nothing to brag about beating a stock 93 2.3 Ranger. I would say let it go and let him think his 93 Ranger has 160 HP, its funnier that way.

 

Your friend sounds like a friend I have... he has a "Toyota cavalier*", and apparently Rav4's have the same engine as the scion tc (He could be right for all I know, but I just kind of doubt toyota threw an suv engine in their only remotely sporty compact car).

*I'm perfectly aware that GM partnered with Toyota a while back to release a cavalier in japan. But seing as his z24 is lhd, had cloth seats, normal fenders, and normal corner lights I don't think it's a Toyota Cavalier. Also, this kid has a bad habit of lying his a** off.

 

when i told him that his car only had 98 hp he said so, that 98 hp beat ur civic. which wasnt really trrue since we really never took off at the same time. the first 2 he said go. the 3rd time i said go and of course the time he said go he won the times i said go i won. so we really never got a good start. we tryed at a light but there was a cop there. an u know how they dont appreciate speeding.i just really hate that he thinks he beat me. i know i havent got a suped up civic an its all stock an not worth racing. its just pissing me off that he thinks he can take me.
