The Moogly people in the United States are just as avid about playstation as they were in Japan before Microsoft introduced the xbox. It doesn't matter where the system comes out, price, gamplay, and quality will arise in whatever country the system is in. The japanese know microsoft as we know it here, it is a big name that entails a lot of nice things. So, therefore, they will see how the systems compare and realize the facts that the 360 is a much better choice. Xbox sales overseas skyrocketed as well as here when it was introduced, leaving the ps2 sales behind and even being better than the debut of the ps2 there as well.

 

I no longer buy any sony products. They are the one electronic company that insists on using their own format, for EVERYTHING. For example:

-For the Psp you have to use "UMD" discs, WTF IS A UMD DISK?
-For their cameras, "Memory Sticks".
-For video, let's start using MiniDiscs (those small DVD's) that convert their video files into .VOB instead of mpeg.



I hate sony.

please do not get me started on blue ray. it has a good picture and all but like 800 dollars for just a reader?!?!?!?! and like 70 dollars for a movie?!?!?! no thank you!

I like sony, but true they do want that money. (im still getting a ps3 after the price drops)

 

^^yeah same here, MGS4!!!!...but right now the 360 is the way to go....

 

MGS4 is the only reason I will purchase it in the way distant future, or wait to see if it comes on the 360 like many of the mgs series did. The ONLY reason! and we're talking when the price is down to like fifty dollars, and we now fly cars to work everyday, and women who don't bitch about everything are a dime a dozen.....guess i'll have to wait a long while for that last one

 

Yeah.....so I can't wait for Halo 3 either! And Moogly, you may be right...Sorry [sic] might own Japan (for now), but Microsoft rules the rest of the world.
