Default F'ing cup holders!

For like the 100 time this year, a cup filled to the brim with sweet golden mountain dew (I get a fountain drink everyy morning on the way to work) flew out of my damn cup holder and exploded all over the passenger side when I turned. Dont get me wrong, Honda makes great cars, but they SUCK at making cupholders and stereos. Is there anything to get around this cup holder dillema? The ghetto cup holder sitting on the window edge is not an option.

dude...i hear ya! My girlfriend always sends me to pick up fast food (which i dont mind, gives me an excuse to rip around in the civ), but when you put two drinks in those cupholders, its a safe bet that one of them is going to end up on your floor. Last time, was even worse. It tipped back and spilled, but never fully left the cupholder, so it just spilled all over my boot, center console, etc... f-in cupholders.

I've never actually had one spill in the car, but I agree that Honda engineers need to learn how to make some actually useful cupholders. My solution would be to drive like I do, when I have drinks in the car. Right hand holding the drinks in the cupholders, left hand shifting. I've actually got pretty good at it.

go to walmart or something and get one of those cupholders thats fold out. just drill it on the center panel next to your seat, no one will notice.

Best thing to do is find a gorgeous 20 year old female that'll do anything you want.......then get her to ride in the passenger seat and hold on to your cup of Mountain Dew.
Don't forget to tell her you'll give her somethin special when you get home!

I've never had any problems with my cupholders, but I did have problems with the cupholders in my friend's 99 Civic EX Coupe.
