Oh yea and for those of you that were talking about FF3... Yes its in the process of picking the cast.

SUPPOSIVELY, Brad Pitt is getting the star role, this time taking place in Japan

Both Paul Walker and Vin Diesel denied the Director when asked to return for the sequel to the Trilogy

[sm=drooldude.gif] soooo beautiful

and nowhere has anyone said that brad pitt may be in the starring role. get your info straight. i guess the movie will be about drifting in japan though. i highly doubt i'll see it just because it would probably forever tarnish my image of the japanese drift scene as well

Paul Walker has enough money to buy a turbo'd Prelude
i havent seen it in awhile, but if i remember right, it was a 3000gt. the movie was sponsored by Mitsu, so im pretty sure that it was.

To open my response to all this, Vin is awesome.

Fast and the Furious was a great movie. I enjoyed it lots. Now...if we forget about the double clutching bit, forget about the aluminum floor mat blowing out of the car because of "too much nos," forget about the fried piston rings and the car still running, and forget about the nos blowing up a car (which is pretty close to physically impossible after putting no more than 60 rounds from a 9mm uzi into it), there is still the 5 minute scene of 4 cars covering 400m. Now...I don't know much about cars, I don't know much about engines and modding, but I do know this. Unless you're walking, it won't take you 5 minutes to drive 400m. Now...let's set that aside for a second as well. What I do know stuff about is computers, and the scene with Jesse and Bryan discussing the Supra in front of that box. That software was coded to do 2 things: run a slideshow and throw in a little animation to it. How useless was that? Back to cars though. Rebuilding a Supra that seems to have come out of an explosion on 15 grand? Unlikely, but sure, I'll roll with it. Diesel being afraid to drive a Charger, when he jacks big rigs all night? Uhm...all right, whatever.

2F2F? Well...let's see. Black dude replaces Vin Diesel. All I got to say.

Torque? That hideous piece of crap had worse special effects than Clerks.

No, it was definately a red Prelude Turbo.. I just watched the clip today because I own the DVD.

And as for Torque, that was probably the worst, most unrealistic racing movie of all time..
Thank god it was only like an hour and 15 minutes long or I would have walked out of the theatre when i saw it.

ill have to watch the dvd again, but ill agree Torque was the biggest waste of time. what a pile of crap. i heard it sucked, but i figured there would at least be a few good action/riding scenes in it. nope. all trash.

ya, i think they stole the chase scene throught the woods from star wars when they were on the planet of the ewoks and they were riding the jet bikes trying to evade the storm troopers. cheezy!

You know what else they did in that movie?

They completely stole Vin Diesel's line from the first FATF... you know the "I live my life a quarter mile at a time" one, and used it again in Torque. Straight up trash.
