hey yall i just had a real crappy monday. i was driving home after work and decided to go to best buy to get some new rear speakers for my civic (i bought 6.5' alpine type s). so i leave best buy and just taken my good old time going home. it is now about 10 pm and i am at the stop light right by my street about (400 feet away). i slowly start off from the light and am going about 20mph then a car merged over in front of me no big deal right? he hit his brakes and i didn't see it in time and i rear ended him. everyone was fine execpt for my poor civic, which has a lot of damage on the drivers side front. his trailblazer was fine i just scratched his trailer hitch. so the police got called and my car got impounded because i did not have my current insurance with me, or a new registration and plate. (my plate was for my jeep). so yeah thats just my luck, i will get some pictures when i get my car back on friday when i get paid. but the officer was real cool and gave me a break on the violations so i can't complain too much.

 

So it is the tow company impound not the police impound right normaly the police only impound if stolen or used in a violent crime.If not the police impound lot would get super backed up.What does the tow company charge for storage per day?Down here it is 20bucks a day.Hopefully they have it in a fenced in area one time my car got impouned and the tow company left it unlocked in a bad area behind someone who worked theres house and I lost stuff out of my car.

that sux dude, well, your in the same boat as my friend( his gf was drivin his car)(hes outta state) and she slammed on her brakes, cause the guy in front of her did, she didnt hit him, but the guy behind her had no brakes, rearended her, pushed her into the blazer infront of her, the eclipse is prolly gonna be said totaled, the rear is fuxked, the frint is ****led, pas. door raddles when it is being drivin, so we know the frame if ****ed, there was also no insurance on this car, she drove it anyway, she got that ticket, then tonight driving it to his house, my friend got pulle over in it, cause the tail light is broke it still works but... wo, that is wierd, 2 ppl wit the same shi t goin on...hope your car is salvagable tho...

i got my car back yesterday. it was really police impound. it cost 100 dollars plus 12 a day and 60 to deliver it. my dad new the towing guy so he knocked the price down to 125, not to bad. i will probably get pics later tonight. for now i know i need a hood, left fender, left headlight, corner lights, front bumper cover, molding between hood and bumper, upper core support, radiator, and even more
