Anyone know of a software program to rip DVDs on to the computer because I want to load them on to my BlackBerry

 

i havent heard of anything like that but if you know a name or anything you can look on download.com, they might have something to fit your needs

 

you can use something like dvd decrypter to get the raw .vob files to your PC, then you will need some osrt of a conversion tool to get it converted to .mp4 files to play on your PDA.

i use one called kinoma producer but its not freeware and works really good for PDA's. I actually use ot for my new ipod nano till i find a better one. If i find a nice freeware one ill shoot you a link..

 

so what format does a blackberry take then?

 

I think black berry and all small portable devices use .mp4 format. This info should be on the manufactures website as some of the more advanced portables may take more formats as well.
