so, for the last three days, i have been driving my buddy's rental cobalt lt...it is the BIGGEST pos that ive ever driven....everything in the car is crappy plastic...whoever said that "the cobalt is nothing like the cavalier" youre in denial, or youre a complete moron...one piece plastic door panels? wind up windows? its AWFUL...it has a drivetrain whine ....and it only has 12,000 miles on it...and whoever claims that their non-supercharged cavabalt is fast, your a liar...

at the auto show today, i had a look at the cobalt super s**t, and it had the SAME crappy interior...except with "leather" glued to it...


for those here who made the awful error of driving a cobalt...im sorry, because you bought one of the worst cars that ive ever driven, and ive worked as a valet, and as a mechanic...so ive driven alot of cars..

the cobalt is complete garbage.

I'v made that statement before regarding the platform it is built on, but when breaks down it is still GM's lowest model car, you get what you pay for. And the N/A cobalt's run a high 15s/low 16s stock, not fast by any means, but quicker considering its competition.

Yup, they're way cheezy. I participated in an automotive survey in November and that was one of the vehicles for us to review. I ripped it to shreds-hehe Incidentally, Chrylser had a prototype of a new compact that looked like a mini 300. It was sweeeeeeeeet (still wouldn't buy it).

high 15s low 16s eh? when the supercharged model is lucky to run mid 14s? i want one of our cobalt owners to show me positive proof that their car runs low 16s...my DD only runs low 16s, and there is NO way in hell that this pos would come anywhere close to keeping pace with my car...it also seems to get worse fuel mileage than my 3.0...
