How many people here like something besides imports? Not trying to turn this into a domestic vs import flame war, I just wanna know if theres anyone on here that I can chat about domestics with. Personally I like Ford. Not really a GM guy. If you dont like domestics you dont have to post <( ^^ )>

 

I would kill to get my hands on a '04 F-150 FX4 to have for my own.

 

ill take the f-150 lighting. seen one at the track, that sc sounded so sexy.
i havent driven too many domestics but if the car is cas the car is fast.

Yea, the lightnings are monsters. I wouldnt mind an 03 Cobra myself. VERY easy to achieve 600 HP. Ive seen one do a wheelstand on stock suspention and rear end.

 

i must concure the cobra is a definite must have if want car. everything about it is sexy lol. my gir has a mecury cougar which i do say myself is a sexy car for a gurl we put dual exhaust and 18's rims for looks she wants to get the car lowered or air bag and get a lip kit. another domestic car or should i say truck is the str-10 [sm=drooldude.gif] omg that truck is a beast!!!!

 

i actually almost bought a baby blue chevelle SS before i got my civic. just out of my price range by a few grand *sniffle*. so yea, i'm a fan of old domestics. i think most new domestics are crap though, aside of the srt-4 and new mustang (i love the styling). although i must admit, i do like only having to pay $16 to fill up my tank for the week

 

What do you mean by a wheel stand? If you mean a brake stand, then it coul be done on almost any RWD car. I've done it in my BMW before. As far as domestics go, they are inferior to imports imo. I alway get looks of disbelief when people hear the mileage on my BMW and Corolla. If I had to pick, I would definately pick something classic, as well as just about any shelby or DMC. Just about any muscle car that came from GM gets my respect. In 80s, americans started producing pure garbage. i know there's a rave about this new mustang and whatnot, but I will bet $1000 that those will not last over 150k miles without significant work on the drivetrain. The new GT40 looks cool, but I do know for a fact that they had some serious re-calls. If you buy something in that price range, you expect something that's built with quality.

Well, original owner bought it in germany and impoted it to the states later. Mods will not make your car a euro spec
