honestly, the magnum that i had was a base model, and it was alot of plastic, but really, most cars are plastic interiors anymore...i think that the interior on the higher end magnums are nicer, but the base mdoel is only like 18,000 or so...so i wouldnt expect much.
as for the intrepid, ballard, i bet that it had the 2.7L engine? how long ago what this (or what year intrepid?)

It was the 2.7, and I believe the car was a 2002, and the accident happened in early January. The car did have over 100k miles, which Im told is because I used synthetic oil.

the reason that it happened is a common problem and somehow alot of places dont know about this, but the 2.7s had a crankcase pressure problem, which was caused by not changing the oil frequently enough. the dirt ni the oil would plug up the PCV, which caused more pressure, and increasd heat, and the motor woudl basically melt. when working for dodge, i saw 3 or 4 in a years time with this issue. did you buy the car new or used?

hmm.... when is dodge gonna learn? just makin a fast car ain't good enough, it needs to look good too! cases in point: this ugly POS and the srt-4....
