actually i think del sols look better than civics, and theyre lighter so they can be made faster easier.
They are not lighter for one, and a regular civic's chassis is alot stiffer being the del sol have a removable targa top thingy. To me and this is just me i veiw them as a chick car.

Anyone know what the name of that shop is in the video? I've seen quite a few Hondas and Acuras come out of that place fast as hell. Seems like they do damn good work.

My mate has a very tidy black one. I think there nice and a solid little car, whats the weight diff between them? cos he swears his del-sol is lighter than my EG civ.

95 civic hatch = 2390

Thank you Forty, he is still arguing tho, he recs that the trans top sol may be heavier than the EG civ but his manual roof top is lighter, and he still reckons its as stiff cos he said its got A roll over bar.

Not the tranny, he reckons its lighter cos on his car you have to remove the targa roof top by hand, rather than the automatic mechinisim on the higher spec models.

I kno a guy who has a hecka sweet del sol. Its quick and a clean gunmetal color. Ill see if I can find pics.

EDIT: Well I couldnt find a pic of his del sol right now..but I found a pic of his Civ with a new snowboard rack on top haha..And Im putting a pic of my friends LS Integ with a type R swap, ill ask him if i can come over his house and take pics of the whole engine bay.. but heres the pics:
