i think that it has something to do with the sound level, and emmisions, but i am not fully sure,

That doesnt matter. Cops dont work for the DMV. I will soon be running NO CAT converter. The cops can say what they want, but here in NJ, if you have an inspection sticker, youre good. Doesnt matter. Cops dont work for Inspection Station.
