Consumer Rights, Used Auto Purchases

Consumer Rights, Used Auto Purchases
I am located in PA. I was wondering, if I buy a used car with a limited warranty and it breaks down due to a part that isnt covered under the warranty within 30 days of purchase, is the dealer obligated to repair it?

yes...there's this thing called buyer grievance...I think if you're not happy within 30 days of purchase they are even obligated to take it back. Consult with the local BBB office.

The buyer's grievance doesnt apply for every kind of business... a business simply needs to state their return policy and if it is a no return policy they can overide the BBB. I own a retail business on the side and I've had a customer try to pull that on me and I said the BBB can kiss my white cheeks and it is a final sale. Make sure you know the return policy of the dealership before you demand anything cuz you'll get burned if you go in there gung-ho and end up getting schooled.
