i got in an accident 10-6-05... 2 girls ran infront of my car from a dead blind spot and caused me to swerve as they stopped in my lane and i hit the curb lost control and hit another car head on...u can see the pics on my gallery....they said there was 160 feet of skids.. but when i went back there were only truck skids..4 tires..and they claim i pulled my ebrake...in that case my ebake didnt work to begin with cause i just had the things replaced and they didnt do them right soo i needed to do them over again...i really dont want that point to come out....but point being...the tickets were written up for the 6th...they went..straight to the magistrate on 10-14-05...then didnt get printed till 11-22-05...and didnt get sent till 12-3-05..i just got them yesterday 12-06-05...which is the 2 month of my accident... soo is it legal that they took that long? and that i didnt get a copy of the citation before this point from the state police? i have plans on fighting it because i know the cop probably wouldnt show up....hes a state trooper..and its really probably not worth his time...but if i dont fight it i get careless driving...and observing a safe limit..put on my record....the one statement the cop issued was i had to regards to myself and deffinately did cause the accident on my own accord...because the girls ran away and they never got a thing out of it...

its 227 dollars worth of fees now...when the cop coulda sent them directly to me for under 100....

any clue what should go on?? i know its not lights..im sorry...but i need responses fast...ive only got one week

 

im not really sure about the legal side of this, but i dont think you can fight it for it taking a long time to send to u...but you might be able to fight it if you have witnesses, the 2 girls? , but that sucks man, sorry to hear that..thats like people moving for animals and hitting somthing else and i no you couldent really not stop for the 2 chicks but they should atleast back you up or somthing if it was there fault..hopefully you can get the charges dropped because thats just wrong, didnt they say anything to the cops at the accident or any witnessis say anything?

 

i have whitnesses im more then willing to drag in to it..like..300 of them...it was homecomming football game they were smoking weed..they ran away before the cops could get there

 

Id suggest fighting it, and bringing witnesses to the court date with you. Make sure you have valid proof to prove the cop wrong, or the judge will more than likely side with the cop. Especially because a lot of kids probably would be tryin to show off and pulling their ebrake and everything outside where lots of kids are present. Good luck and let us know what happens.

 

haha i dont have an ebrake..the only reason i was stopping was cause the girls ran infront of me...oh well edit this later i have to go bye

 

I would tell them that the Ebrake wasn't working at that point in time, and explain why it wasn't and also take the witnesses in as well. try your best not to get ****ed iover by something that wasn't your fault

 

yeah well 15-1 the cop wont show up

cause clarion cops dont go to anything..unless it means a raise..and this guys not working for one...since i know all the cops up there..

 

Fight it and take those 300 witnesses with you.

 

i feel that way.....but everyone except a few of the guys that heard me comming and knew my car said i was going like..160....IN AN ESCORT! there was also rumors i had 50 kilo of blow and 3 kilo of weed....and that i hate 2 ***** in my car...i had used a bottle of nos...and i was out running the cops...damn...i might get a few guys i know who will defend my loudness of my car....in regards to speed.cause it was loud but not that fast..
