I highly doubt there IS something such as the chupacabra..., but animal mutations are believable, and I wouldn't be surprised if a mutated wolf, or fox or something did happen to kill livestock...it's easy to see how the rumors started.

I know you guys may call BS on me, but i'm 75% sure i've encountered a sasquatch (bigfoot) I live in an area surrounded for hundreds of kilometres by untouched nature and one night me and my friend were driving around in the woods and stopped at an old electrical station to have a smoke. we were there for a while and we heard all the frogs in the nearby creak, stop croaking (no BS might not have a correlation at all but freaky nonetheless) and than we heard the chainlink fence move behind us and something resembling a bear but without the hefty body was walking away from us down a hill and it was doing it on it's hind legs like a human. It was watching us the whole time we were there. I bolted like a sissy and drove out of there.
Some people may not believe in it, but i can after that night. It's not the only story from around here either.

Well not to rain on anyones parade but I live in oregon where supposedly the most big foot sighting have taken place which you know alot of people believed in up til a few years ago. An old man died and alot of it came out that he was an old hermit, well turned out he actually would dress up as a sasquatch or big foot. They found a costume in his house and all that , if you notice all the videos of him are pretty far away so you can never really tell that its a costume. The story was he did this after he reached his full height of about 6'5" at 16 after seeing all the publicity from one "sighting" he continued to do it til his elder years. Anywaise this is what I can remember from the newspaper story from about 3 years ago. take it or leave it, but think about this there has not been any reported sighting of it for quite some time ago.
