And thats why I'm going to a honda/acura tech college where you, "learn to work on honda's for 2 years".

hmmm....if you get to work on an NSX, ITR or CTR.....i would like to see pix, as well as how you felt about that car. lol have fun, but yea really, dont expect to know everything by reading a couple of books, the hands on experiance will help a lot. good luck with your occupation choice!

That is the book I was talking about. Its thick as hell (like 1500 pages). It has full color diagrams and what not. Covers just about every system in an automobile (as well as some stuff on diesel). I didn't mean to insult you or anything. I will tell you one thing, working on your car is not enough. You can work on your car but still not have a good understanding of how the components work. I'll admit i'm not that good with my hands but I have met very few people that can challange my knowledge on automotive theory.

I just bought 'modern automotive technology' book for $20 w/ shipping used on amazon. Seems like a good deal, I'll get the more expensive one later that meta posted. thanks for the input Agent[sm=smiley20.gif]

Make sure you got the text book and not the workbook. The workbook is pretty useless b/c all it tests is your ability to copy stuff out of the text.

THe only reason I say that is b/c I told my dad to buy a book one time off Amazon and he ended up with the solution manual.
