best site ever

 

Can't really use a helms if you don't know what you're looking at.

There are lots of good books out there. Just go to Barnes and Noble or whatever book store you have there, and flip through a few that look useful for a while. You'll find one worth buying.

 

It's not like I don't know "anything" obviously.....Why would I be on this forum if I didn't know a *** thing about cars? And doing stuff to my car?

But anyway I want to try to learn like everything you canbefor I gothat way I wont be overwhelmed or anything.

 

try *knock'n* on someone you know an ounce of info about first....

it's a VERY detailed and thorough explanation of... well, everything that in a car.
if you just want just the basic ideas however, i'll second howstuffworks

howstuffworks is the bomb.

 

yeah it's not cheap but trust me, it's worth it. howstuffworks is nothing compared to this book.

Sorry but this is something that can not be crammed into a few book sessions. It takes years to be ready to really work on/fix/trouble shoot cars and their problems
