Default Car decision

well i think my last post awhile ago was me figuring out what to do with my dead ae86 and what car to get. Now i have a 240sx hatch ive had it for awhile traded my ae86 for it and its a pretty fast little car.
now my questions are. how fast are built ef hatches?random i know..
do you think i should swap an engine in the 240sx or keep it save my money and get a car note next summer?
im looking at srt4 and scion tc.. any suggestions of different but fast cars are good too.
bascially im just looking for more speed. oh yeah and to help you out with car selection im looking for a car that can run 12s with mild bolt ons or just bolt ons and a turbo.

You want 12's with bolt ons - 1st gen eclipse TSI AWD. Have a buddy who's only done bolt ons, runnin low 11's. Has left the internals stock < or so he claims.. i dunno >.
Anyways, the SRT-4 is the worst decision possible. The car is simply defective. There are a lot of people getting in simple wrecks and dying. I personally lost a damn good friend who had one. The damn airbags didnt deploy, and the seat belts didn't lock up. They should ban those pieces of junk from the road!
Scion is a slow car. Costs a lot to modify, and even at that, not that fast. I have a buddy with a turbo'd one. No clue on specs, but he's still slow. lol.
What kind of money are you willing to put into a project? That would help us tell you best cars for your application.

tc's are slow and srt-4's sound like a** IMO (not to mention you're buying a glorified neon.. I know they technically aren't neons, but if it looks like a duck... ).

If you buy an eclipse/talon, make sure it's a 1st gen.... the 2nd gens are notorious for crankwalk.

If I were you, I'd sell the ae86 (actually, I wouldn't... f**king amazing cars...) and use the money for a built KA24de-t. It's what I plan on doing (without the ae86 part lol).. but first I have to buy an s13 lol... To quote captain Jack Sparrows, "I'm in the market... as it where."

05-06 Sentra Spec V,

Know 1 guy thats doing a vq35 swap in a 91 240 and another doing a LS1 swap into a 89 240, very expensive could do a sr20det swap it'll be quick and fun drive not insanely fast, but would rather have the dependability of a n/a car you know.
