I would tell them even if I didn't have to. Everytime I have ever been stopped I always present my DL and my Carry permit and ask if he would like to disarm me until the traffic stop is complete. I really am not out to **** off the cops. Hell alot of my friends back home are cops. I just dont like some of the cops up here in north GA. They are rednecks that like to follow you around if you drive a civic(even a stock one) and wait for you to do something so they can pull you over.

no law against it as long as it is mounted in the correct manner, not obscuring your view

LOL gotta love redneck cops.....
when i had my 66impala driven i had cops follow me from point A to point Z trying to catch me do something wrong.LMFAO

man i love that car LMFAO
it just screamed DRUG MOBILE COPS WATCH ME.LOL tho im not into that.. just my beats so only tickets i ever got was spinnen tires and speeding and a few noise polution tickets.LMFAO
i cannt wait to get the old girl back out on the road and see if the cops will still follow me.LOL
main thing that gets them to follow people around here is a nice car... nice paint.....

tho i never tell the cop i have a gun..... they have no reason to search my car and find it anyways......
tho a few times im SHOCKED they didnt see it when giving me warnings for lame s***.... mines always under the drivers seat now and registration is in my center console.

only laws i break now are speeding and my radar detector saves my @ss just about every time.... tho its not fool proof

but if you have the time just keep fighting those BS tickets! the cops arent geting introuble! unless they shoot some unarmed kid AND HAVE IT ON TAPE.... they will never be repramended for thier actions!

Not in Savannah. After we had about 20 officers get busted for running cocaine, they all got put on a short leash. Judges would read them the riot act for wasting the courts time. It had calmed down before I left Savannah year, but damn it was crazy for awhile there. The cops were getting into trouble all the time.

Here in Michigan it is NOT illegal to have a video camera mounted in your car, nor is it illegal to run said camera during normal driving. However, if you get pulled over for say...speeding, and the cop sees the camera, it gives them probable cause (that you may have been endangering others with illegal driving) and they will watch the video. When they do, and see you doing something stupid, they've got instant proof, and you will be prosecuted.

I live in S.C. and we have installed a couple cameras in horse trailers. Also I have seen commericals of factory cars being produced with cameras in them.

Yeah the Ford SYNus has a camara at the back and there is no rear window. They just put a big tv so you could see out of the camara.

No, it wouldn't be invasion of privacy. Your filming in public and the ppl that you might get on tape are also out in public. So whatever they are doing, its not private.
