Exactly. I do'nt know the age limit in Canada, but i am pretty sure that you have the be one age across the board to buy a gun of anysort. hell i pretty sure that you have to be 18 just to get an airrifle.
IMO your second ammendment makes no sence to me, and people in the US take it way to seriously

Its really easy to conceal a pistol but its not so easy to conceal a rifle. That is probably why you have to be 21 to own a pistol. I don't think you go hunting with pistols, they are generally for shooting people.

RE: Buying a rifle - dilemma
I know a good bit about rifles, and i do know that a 223 version of the AK is somewhat hard to find a little bit more expensive,i would rather have the AK. Ive shot both SKS and AKs and i prefer the Aks because they look awesome, shoot good, but not very accurate as someone stated earlier and they will split a small tree ( with that weird size caliber that i can never remember for some reason 5.79 x something or something with 579 in it lol)....my pap has 2 AR-15s, and they are by far they funniest gun i have ever shot, but if you ever get an AR get the Colt not Bushmaster.I noticed some of you guys were talkin about a full-autogun being illegal to own, thats weird because its not illegal to own the full-auto parts to turn it over to full auto. You can buy full-auto sears, trigger groups and a few other auto mechanisms, and with some money and knowledge you can turn it into full-auto.....but dont do it...lol
I also like shooting tricked out 10/22's with carbon fiber stocks, scopes, bipods, 50round mag, im into the military thing and i love to hunt just about everything and anything.

actually, I don't think you can. A machine gun is fully automatic.

only in america can you buy a machine gun to go "hunting" with... lol.

Fully automatic is illegal to own without a full auto lisence for that specific gun, and if you hunted wit it, it would completely demolish w/e you are shooting unless you let only a few rounds off..and its also illegal to hunt with..lol
