Well now that i have picked up another job and am working 7 days a week i havent had very much time for hcf. It seems like it has been fairly busy around here though. Last night i picked up a 1992 Prelude SI for 300 bucks. The car runs good and has 170000 miles on it but is pretty beat up. I plan on parting some stuff out of the junk yard for it and putting in back together. The bad news is that my rents arent going to let me have another car on the insurance and say we dont have the room for it so i am either going to have to sell the civic or the prelude. well here are some crappy pics i took with my phone.

i dont think it will be too hard of a fix. So far i know it needs a new door, a new fender, and new bumpers. The window on the drivers side needs a new motor, it needs a new battery and some brake work. Im going to budget around 1000 dollars to fix this car.

 

$1000 and a scrap yard can go a LOOONNNGG way, are you going to do the $50 paint job on it when your done?

agreed man!!! 300 is a crazy deal for that if it actually runs. Hell even if it doesnt run, the body isnt all that bad lookin. Good find!

 

It runs really well it was surprisingly fast. It was so cheap because this kid needed it gone from his parents house in a hurry.
