You Yanks get a rough deal when it comes to beer, Carlsberg may claim to be the best in the world but it is mass produced ****e pumped full of chemicals like all big named companys. And people over here who are really into there beer drink 'real ales' and stuff like that produced by small often family owned brewreys for over a hundred years. There are hundreds of varities to choose.
One of my favorates though is made in Australia and is impossible to get anywhere which makes me want it even more. Its called Coopers sparkling ale, 5.8% brewed in the bottle, no artifical flavourings or preservatives, and with all the sediment left in the bottom. yum yum.

here we go with another high and mighty "I know everything about beer" drinker rant...

I only named those that I thought people would have heard of. My beer R'epertoire is that of an 85 year old aocoholic

Well you dont get proper beer in the states, you only get mass produced US and EURO crap, nothing wrong in that, its the same over here and is what I drink 90% of the time, its just we have real ales for the connoisseur.

This is how its brewed-
Real ale is a type of beer defined by its traditional production.
Also known as "cask conditioned" beer; the fundamental distinction between real and other ales is that the yeast is still present in the container from which the beer is served, although it will have settled to the bottom and is not poured into the glass.

Because the yeast is still alive, the process of fermentation continues in the cask or bottle on the way to the consumer ensuring a fresh and natural taste.
