hmmm... I'd be interested to see statistics backing that up.
I do agree...partially. But theres no reason to stay "far far away" from a big bike. Hell, if anything, it's a learning experience. You just need to be mature and respect the capabilities of what's between your legs. My buddy just bought his first bike, and it's a Gixxer. But he's a perfectly level headed guy, who knows his boundaries. He's easing into it, and learning all he can about it so that he doesn't end up dead.
Long story short, it depends on the rider, not the bike
