Well the only bad thing about this whole wreck is, he was an inexperienced rider. He was riding a 11k dollar Hayabusa with only his LEARNERS PERMIT which expired in MARCH!

Who buys a Hayabusa for their first bike?

However Patrick you are right, lordofdarings is simply bashing Big Ben because he doesnt like him, o well. On the postive side it sounds like he will be ok for this season, to do some more crushing on the Bears. however Clevland should improve slightly over the next fews seasons because of Romeo, but he still aint no Belichick. lol

no one...at one of my bike forums, they found that he was given the bike last year by a dealership for doing an appearance...and now because he didnt have a valid license/permit, the accident becomes his fault, not the stupid old woman's...[:@]

a friend of mine has already gone past her house several times, and its under police watch...

Hope Ben gets well soon. I dont think many make it to that level of athletics without a whole lotta confidence and big cajones. Publicly he has been extremely philanthropic and is very respectful in his interviews. How could anyone wish this guy a difficult recovery? Is Ben any different than Carson Palmer who got injured in a game? They are stars of the NFL and its a loss for the whole league without them. Besides, Greg Lloyd is the only Steeler who ill will should be wished upon!!! Just kidding of course...He took out Dan Marino's achillies and Ill never forgive him for it. I do think Ben made a major error in judgement and should have never been on a bike considering what happened to Kellen Winslow last year.

ummm as far as I'm concerned, "Big Ben" is just another person that got whacked on a motorcycle. It doesn't really mean squat what he makes, or who he is. If it was Joe Smoe down the road no one would care. Let him eat pudding for awhile and stare at all the 00000000000000 in his bank account. Nice going moron.

If you don't want people on "your" thread then don't post anything. Secondly I'm sick of pro athletes screwing up and everyone feeling sorry for them. They are supposed to be role models for others. Riding a bike without a lid when you are carrying a franchise on your back, thats stupid. Way to take on responsbility.

for the record, lordofdarings IS a cleveland fan, so you cant expect much along the lines of "class"...for those of you who dont know what i mean, youve obviously never been to cleveland. its an entire city wrapped up in defending their JOKE of a football program. when traveling for work, i was staying in a hotel near cleveland, and the bartender refused to serve me because i had a steelers shirt on...thanks to that particular dumbass browns fan, my drinks were comped for the week.

the bottom line is that he is bashing ben, who had GREAT numbers in both of his first two years, because the browns SUCK, and have sucked for a long time now.

so with ben, who "doesnt do anything" at the helm, the steelers have outscored the browns 133-54. and lets not forget that previously, the browns (and the city) were So awful that the owner moved the team to baltimore. but hey, with 5 QBs on their roster right now, who have taken a combined 0 snaps in the NFL, its bound to be another fine year for the browns!

hm. i didnt say a single thing about the steelers that was poor. Just ben for being a dumb ***, and arguing steeler players vs other steeler players. which many of my steeler friends agree with. This is the reason i stoped posting on here. This forum went to ****. I would of expected better from your patrick. posting scores from past pitt clevland games? what was the point? im done with this forum. good day guys.

ben's a grown man.

he shoulda known the consequences of not riding with a helmet.

i used to have a crotch-rocket and i NEVER rode without a helmet.

you're responsible for the actions you take.

ben didn't wear a helmet. he got in a wreck. now he's regretting it. it's that simple.

just because someone is famous or has tons of $$$$ doesnt automatically make them a better person than anyone else. theyre still people like you and me..with a little extra on the side. people make mistakes. lay off with this whole 'im sick of athletes screwing up' because guess what...EVERYONE screws up. its in the human nature. i bet you couldnt go back a day and not miss some time where you screwed up.
