Why does it have to be a "sport compact car"? There are plenty of bad *** cars you can get for that price that are not labled as such.

$25,000 is more than enough to pick up a wide variety of used sports cars. You can get an Evo, STi, S2000, or 350Z used for that price. Personally, I'd buy an old NSX with that kind of cash.
Or a used Porsche 911 with about 50-70K on it. That's what I would go for. You can find them on craiglist for 25-30K.

i know that for that price i could get like yall said (NSX, 911) but ive been saving for a while and wont have $25000 till winter of 08' so 911 or NSX would be nice but also gota think about alot of expenses besides the basic cost of the car you know what i mean...

i want something along that price but as well once i have it dont want to use my whole paycheck to just pay for insurance, gas, and maintenance. Could you imagine what insurance would be for a 20yr old with -1 on license on a 911???

With the 911 you will be paying out the *** for maintanance for sure. Since its a Porsche the parts are going to be expensive no matter what. Since the NSX is an Acura, the parts might not be that expensive although that is pure speculation as I don't know. A 911 is a pretty nice car, but so is the NSX. The NSX is a car you don't see every day because its not so common. A 911 on the other hand is something you always see. Don't forget VTEC yo!
