For me...I love Hondas, but I also like a few domestics. And I know theres usually tension between "Import people" and "Domestic people" , but what kinda domestics do you guys like? For me, I personally like Chevys. Like Marty, I know you like GM's. What about the rest of you?

I can't stand domestics in general. There are far better alternatives to any given one. The only one I appreciate and respect is Corvette. C6 is a better sports car then 90% of exotics. Yes the interior is very cheap, but it's not really a problem, because the car gives you a performance that many exotics cant touch for a fraction of the cost.

 

I like the C6 Corvette and the Mustang GT (minus the stupid lights in the middle) but thats probably it from the domestics. Euro cars are nice, but i don't think they are worth the money and they usually don't have as much performance as other cars.

 

I like companies that have F1 team like honda, toyota, ferrari, bmw... They have newest technologies in their cars.

 

i like GMs (for the most part). f-bodies and vettes are my favs.

 

What about like trucks/SUVs? Right before I bought the Si, my plan was to buy a Silverado. Im even a member on a Chevy site, I just dont go on it much anymore. Hondas are still my favorite cars, mostly because theyre great well roundedness (Price, reliability, performace/aftermarket support) but until I bought the Si, I didnt realize how great they are...and thought Chevys really were like the best car there is.... EVER ....

Im not a big Ford fan...and thats from personal experience... Some are alright, my Mustang lasted 160k on the same tranny, pretty much everything original part, except like a head gasket a while ago. We sold it not that long ago, and it still ran just fine.

 

dont like domestic small cars, only trucks, pretty much the only thing their semi good at making. his last chevy suburban lastesd almost 15 years with no major problems but then he decided to get a new one. his current truck is a chevy Z71 suburban. its pretty kick a$$, all leather interior, bose sound system, the works. and no problems for the couple years hes had it.

 

i had a 2004 sporttrac i liked it but not the gas milage[:'(]

 

I honestly do not like domestics anymore. i used to drive a ford and it sucked. it was great on gas but ****ty on performance. plus the parts were all ****ed up. i owned a ford car. it had a ford block and head, a mitsubishi intake manifold and a mitsubishi distributor. it was a bitch to find parts for at times. i kicked it a couple of times. Now that i have gotten into the import scene i honestly do not think i'll ever go back. probably for a long time.

 

i like a few domestics, i like my friends probe, it blew the doors off an 06' turbo'd crossfire, and i like the ford GT40, i like chevy trucks , and corvettes, i love my honda, and the one B4 that, and anyother import...i like!!!
