i got really drunk/sick on killians a few years back, and i dont care for it all that much...i dont like sam adams products, especially fruit based beers...i like beers that are very pale and hoppy..i started into the six pack of breckenridge traditional pale ale last night, and it is not as hoppy as some pales that i have had, but it is pretty light as a pale ale goes, and very crisp, clean taste, with some (not alot) hoppy aftertaste...just enough to remind you that youre drinking a pale ale

yuengling? youre from SC, right? how have you had yuengling? that was a favorite of mine, but i cant get it here..they have quite the variety as well...it comes from the oldest operating brewery in the US, too...they make a decent pale ale, and for the price, its a GREAT pale ale.

They recently brought it down. And it was a smart thing to do. It currently is the most popular keg choice around sc.
I also understand that we pronounce it something different than the north.
we pronounce it as "ying-ling" lol
Oh and I like the dark icky stuff like Newcastle (mmmm)
But I will drink anybeer. Accept ginny draft [:'(]

well i have noticed that everyone here has not mentioned Alexander Keiths, i think you can only get it in Canada, or maybe just Easter Canada, but it is delisious, i got drunk on it after work tonight, then when i sobered up some i got a 6pack of coors light(just what i am use to drinking) and am currently just opening my 3rd, getting a little tipsy again, and am about to play NFS Most Wanted.... this should be interesting since i am having trouble typing this lol

RE: beer enthusiasts?
I used to manage a bar called "Fox and Hound" (you guys might have one near you) and we had ~130 different beers in house with new ones coming in daily. I am proud to say that not one got by me.
There is also a college bar here (LSU) named "the Chimes" that has over 100 different brews. They have this thing called "Around the world in 80 beers." You get a year to drink 80 different beers and you get your name on a plaque in the bar. I am on the wall 4 times.
It's hard to nail down favorites because I will order a different one everytime I get to the bar and I just love beer... period.
Hoegaarden
La Fin du Monde
Chimay anything. I like the Red.
Holy hell. For some reason I cannot remember the name of my favorite. It was dark and Fox and Hound was the only place in the state where you could get it. Oh man this is gonna drive me nuts.
I am a huge fan of Trappist beers. They made it first, they make it best.

Also, I think you mean except.
And also, there isn't a person in the world that would drink any ginny product (actually High Falls Brewing Company) if they saw where it was made. Even though the water doesn't come from the river, it kinda tastes like it's full of film developer and coppier toner.
