im going to ocean city first week of june for senior week. its gena be freakin crazzzzzzzyyyy. i cant wait, i havnt been to the beach in over a year and now im goin with like 10 good friends and stayin at a private community with a private beach. i hope to go to myrtle beach this summer cuz my aunt just had a new house built there but i doubt ill be able to since ill be taking some summer classes...

I live about 10 miles from the beach. Takes about 15 minutes to get out there if you catch all the lights and there's no old folks out. In fact, we swung by the pier last Monday!

thanks creed86 i used to go to p- cola 2 or 3 times a year but i haven't been down there since hurricane ivan my aunt was up here when ivan hit orange beach alabama thats about 30 mins away from her house so me and my dad had to take her home this was the first time i have seen hurricane damage it was awful it looked like a bomb had been set off she had light damage and she lost power and phone and water for 3 weeks but she said with hurricane dennis/katrina/rita pensacola is slowly getting back to normal here are some pics she sent me of ivan damage

I work literally across the street from a pretty nice beach (Torrey Pines)... there's a little cliff in the way but you can go down the road to the recreation area.

I live about 20 mins from a really nice beach (Carlsbad/Oceanside) though.

damn man that damage is crazy. its hard to comprend mother nature's true wrath until you see the damage first hand. when i was down there i flew in through N.O (used my miles united doesnt fly to PNS) man crazy they doing a lot to rebuild but its still a wreck down there and most of what i saw was just on driving on I-10 back to P-cola

yeah thats true it was bad down there my aunt said there are people still in fema trailors the beach still has damage and allforsrt thats a nice shack love the veiw

well i live in indiana and the only beaches we have are for our lakes. not too exciting let me tell you. the last time i was at the beach was probably 4-5 years ago....
