Timing belt is done. They tech was cool as hell. The rough idle is due to a leaking intake manifold gasket. Time to get the tools out.

well i have to take the entire manifold off to replace the gasket right? Hmmm i HATE taking stock parts off and putting em back..........Maybe ill get a skunk 2 intake manifold. If it comes with a free gasket ill do it.

i would say, if you have the money of course, Upgrade that bitch. i'm hoping i get that job at baptist hospital so i can start doing more things to my car. i will then do a engine swap after a while. and put what i want on it this summer. lol kool huh

 

Heh, that would be pretty sweet to just replace it. I know how you feel too, taking off a stock piece only to put it back on sucks.. If you got the cash, go with the S2, but you might want to e-mail/call them to find out whether or not it comes with the gasket. I would think that it should, but you just never know with these companies..

..If you just replace the gasket, I would go with OEM, better safe than sorry.

BAHAHAH Bought skunk2 manifold. Cant wait to see how the turbo reacts to it.

 

I stress.......go to the dealer and get a OEM gasket.
