RE: Automotive School
as a UTI grad i can honestly say wyotech owns............if your going into an auto school as a complete newbie that knows maybe how to cahnge the oil in your car then uti is deffinatly not for you. they try to cram the info into your brain in such a short time. i grad the auto/diesel tech in 1.5 years if that tells you anything about how they cram the **** into you. once again wyotech gets my vote. this is assuming your looking at a vocational trade type school. but there is always your local comunity college.

RE: Automotive School
I'm at Lincoln Tech and it's pretty mediocre. Although it might be a regional problem (I'm in Philly) the facilities are just sort of ok, the teachers are hit or miss, and the equipment is inconsistant. It's an easy place to pass the courses doing the bare minimum, from what I've observed, but if you're like I am and you plan on proactively squeezing as much as you can out of the program, you can learn a whole lot and get a fantastic grade.
I can't in good faith say that I'd necessarily reccommend the Philly Lincoln Tech, but I've heard good things about their other campuses.
