Forty do what i do. Grill like tons of chicken every sunday. Then u can put it in the fridge and eat it like pop tarts. LOL Thats what i do, i tastes crappy, but you get used to it. I usually dont have time for eggs either, so i have a protein shake for breakfast. Only bad thing is it give you horrid gas. Like you can clear banquet rooms.

So as of now i've given up "soda" as you guys call it, haha Everyone makes fun of me cause we say "pop" round these parts...

thats funny, down here in south la (i dont know about in BR where sniper is) we call everything coke. like if you want a sprite, you say, " hey get me a coke." then the person you're talking to will say, "what kind?" then you respond, " a sprite." "pop" sounds way to yankee to me.

haha, nice! Alright I think i can handle this plan. Oh, and I drink Rock Green Light or Sam Adams Light now, had to give up my "fatweiser"

Elfreaky, I'm from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, we have our own language up there I did go down to Texas

ION, keep an eye on yourself. My body, and my girlfriends used to be the exact same as yours, but then metabolism slowed down around age 21-22. Ir seriously used to blow my roommates' minds how much food I could eat, and still stay skinnier than you could ever imagine. Just a heads up, cause its great while it lasts, but chances are, it will come to an end, sadly...

Hey sacs, is there ANYTHING you don't know everything about?!

Sacicons, there are plenty more reasons why you shouldn't eat that much meat and protein. All that protein is extremely tough on your kidneys. Dumping meat in your stomach causes the acidity levels in your blood to rise causing calcium to be extracted from your bones as abuffer to keep the blood's pH level at a certain level. <----That's why Americans have the highest rate of osteoperosis yet we consume the most calcium per capita. We consume the most meat and dairy products. A bunch of meat running through the tract innevitably has to come in contact with the colon. As meat goes through your body, the parts not absorbed by the body is already rotting away. Once again, Americans suffer from one of the highest rates of colon cancer. In rural parts of China where all they eat is grains and rice, they've never heard of such a disease. As for the 9 calories of energy per gram of fat as compared to 4 with carbs, it is true that fat holds more energy. However, when fat is being converted to useable energy, it loses anywhere from 2-3 calories. That's why the body uses it as a last ditch resort when it's starving. For your personal situation with Atkins, I'm glad for you. I really am, but I don't know if you could get away with that forever. Who knows though? My friend's grandpa is 94 now I believe and the guy still smokes a pack of cigarettes a day. God damn it I envy that man.

i see what you are saying, but also, a lot of tribes in africa that eat almost exclusively meat and whole milk are some of the healthiest people around too. alot of that is from the other unhealthy stuff in our lives. and im not too worried about overloading my kidneys. I am living proof of evolution.

Ok, time to create a shopping list, I'll be going to GNC and the grocery store on monday when i get paid. So, what should i get?

What do i put in the protein shakes?
Yo SNIPER! What the hell are/is "get a good whey protein with glutamine for right after a workout and an egg or soy protein with long chain amino's for a supplement and/or right before bed" (ie pills, powder, liquid, remember i AM a total newb to this)?!

heres what i got so far

boneless/skinless - chicken breasts
Low-fat Frozen Yogurt
Bananas
Peanut Butter
some healthy "bars" of some sort (little help here is appreciated)

Any tips on gaining some mass? I work out 2-3 times a week. Although I see the results - my strength increases, I'm still a twig @ 6'2" and 165lbs with 8% body fat. I eat large meals 4 times a day - I can see just about every muscle of my body when I flex, but the mas just isn't there. Would squats and deadlifts help me at all with this?
