Thanx Forty. Yeah the guys I work with are pretty cool. Just one guy told me to burn my civic. But hes just some hick looking wigga. And yeah luke all you do is plug this little computer diagnostic reader into the diagnostic port under the dash and turn the key into the accessory position and in about 30 seconds its brings up all the codes that your computer has put out. Its a great tool to have. But one that will **** you off if your not ready for the results. But its all good because I get my 20% off. [sm=wootwoot.gif]
Horray for discounts! Unfortunately, I never use my discount because I don't even own a Honda. I just get parts for other people. But the dealership I work for treats me great, so I don't mind that I can never use the discounts for myself.

Mostly I'm a porter. Every once in a while I'll be called in to do oil changes and simple maint. The pay is pretty good though, so I'm not complaining. It pays for my Autobody schooling and lets me live comfortably as an 18 year old.

Number 1 cylinder misfiring. Number 4 cylinder misfiring. Excessive speed reached. Excessive rpms reached.
i'm not trying to be a butt, but isn't that a pretty bad thing to have happen? my boyfriend had sold one of his integras to some chick who ended up screwing up the cylinders from revving the hell out of the engine. her dad wanted my boyfriend to give back their money, and he didn't realize that the cylinders were misfiring until he tried starting it up after they brought it back and basically, it wouldn't run. i would just think you could tell something like that without needing to check the comp?

I didnt notice anything until about 2 days ago. My car was really sluggish and gas mileage plummetted. Didnt have any time to check it out. I knew something was wrong but not what. So i got to spend $55 on Denso iridiums today. Replaced them in the parking lot and ran my car a couple minutes and tested it again. No codes this time. My old NGK plugs were fried. My car is responsive again and feels alot better. And yeah it is pretty bad. If it you let it go too long youll totally screw up your car. I think I got lucky that it wasnt as bad as it could have been.

yeah ya gotta be really carefull. Makes me worry when i see people driving around their cars with shocking knocking noises from the engine or just when the car doesnt sound right. If your car feels like something is not right then the only place you should drive it is straight to a mechanic or someone that can check it out.

gotcha. glad to hear your car is better. luckily it was just the plugs and you didn't have any bent valves or piston slap.
