Anyone use WinMX?

RE: Anyone use WinMX?
Its a p2p program. For downloading music and stuff.
Screw it, basically i need to find someone with a working executable file so that i can load it on my machine at work. For some reason no matter where i go online, the downloads barely ever work. But, when they DO work, the program itself doesnt. I usually keep all my executables but this one seems to have slipped through the cracks.

RE: Anyone use WinMX?
i run MS anti-spyware everyday and use LimeWire to DL lots and lots of "stuff" everyday and have not yet had a single spyware file or one that got past MS-AS and not a single pop-up from it either.
I used ares a lot before but kept running into not being able to connect and/or losing connection to their server. Switched to LimeWire about a year ago and been working great!

winmx closed its servers because the RIAA threatened them with a lawsuit.

At any rate, that sucks because WinMX rocked, but i suppose its time to move on. I used Ares for a while and it did not even compare to WinMX. WinMX had so many litttle tricks that most users didnt know about, and once you found 'em, you were golden.. blah, i guess its time to move on. Thanks for all the input guys&gal!
