Default Anyone jog?

I'm doing 4 km 3 or 4 times a week. Finishing in ~20 minutes for an 8 minute mile average. Goal is 5 km in 18 minutes*, which was my average time in grade nine...20 years ago; for a 6.5 minute mile average. Damn I'm getting old.

Anyone?

I used to ride a ton, mostly free ride type trails, and occasionally ski hills. Now that I live ridiculously close to the Rockies and some good mtb parks, I haven't ridden in years

oh thats just wrong. You should go take a good long look in the mirror, slap yourself, and then return to the trails. I'm stuck to just urban riding. I'd love to thrash some dirt and rocks!

i don't quite run as far as you, but I run 1-1.5 miles almost every day.

i have a course that I run around where I live. basically towards the end I can go one way and make it about a mile, and if I go the other way its around 1.5 miles. just depends on how i'm feelin which way i decide to go.

ninja edit: i've only been doin this for about a month, so as my endurance gets better I will start to run longer

Yeah, I kind of stumbled into jogging. I was working on an isolated field project for a few months, and besides working 14 hours a day, there wasn't much else to do. We had 2 1000' runways built in an x-pattern, with a shoreline adjacent to them. Figured jogging would help pass the time. You can only surf **** for so many hours in a day.
