There is nothing to driving a car like that down the 1320, it is a automatics just punch it and go. It also has alot to do with elevation Patrick, the higher the elevation the lower the oxygen content in the air their for less oxygen less power.

i am fairly familiar with the effects of the variables of drag racing...

I have no doubt that you are, what is the elevation where you are at? Here it is around 3000 feet above sea level and stock STi's and EVO's can only muster like mid to high 13's. If I would have went more towards the coast with my civic I would have been in the mid 13's easy but as the way it stands I could only get a 14.03. I tried and tried to knock off that .04 to get into the 13's but couldn't to save my life.

i dont know what the elevation is here in MI, and i dont remember what it was in pittsburgh. i do know where the 'faster" tracks are, but i am taught by my dad, who is from the old school, and he probably doesnt know what elevation means...just that norwalk is faster than national trails..etc..

where do you live??

Bristol TN is where I run. It's a nice facility that holds I dont know how many nationaly televised events a year. One thing I am very very bitter about is the lack of road courses around here. I have to go all the way to "Road Atlanta" to run a road course which is what I set my civic up for.
