I just found out that his funeral will be Saturday and the visitation is tomorrow. It's going to be hard..... I never thought the last time I would be seeing Jason would be at his funeral. Hell, I didn't even know he had been deployed. I thought he was just stationed at his base.

I got home a little bit a go from the funeral. That was the hardest one I have had to go to. Both Jason's brothers who are also in the Army are taking it really rough. Jason's brother Ryan would not take his eyes off Jason's casket after everything was over at the cemetery.... I know that Jason and Ryan were really close. I'm pretty sure that the hardest part for me was when we drove through town on the way to the cemetery. There were so many people lined up on the sides of the roads with their flags and signs, showing their support for someone whom they never even met. I cried my eyes out. It's going to take a long time to heal from this.
