Another Sleepless night...
For some reason I cant seem to fall asleep like normal people..
I'll try and try with no result but lost time.
Does anybody have and tips/tricks on how to atleast feel a little more sleepy before bedtime?

Honestly I am not into medicating.. but there is a GREAT over the counter herb that works well for me ( My GF is into all that kinda stuff.. she is a massage therapist, all into natural stuff) Anyhow.. its called
Valerian Root you can get it at Wal-mart in a capsule.. take an hour before bed.. and you wake up well rested, and unlike what some others know use ( nyquil etc) you just wake up well rested and feeling great.. not feeling in a "haze"
Good luck though.. not being able to sleep sucks.

HA, alright **** it...
I used to be into lucid dreaming. I read a few books and on it and actually became quite good at it. Until I felt like i was begining to lost my mind due to the fact that I could no longer seperate reality from the dreams. Anyway, don't worry AK, that has nothing to do with what I'm about to tell you to do....
One main thing I did learn while studying this was that what works for some, doesnt necessarily work for others, but this was the best technique that I used to get me to pass out....within seconds. Basically, you just single out a certain noise in your head. Crickets, traffic, the tv in your neighbors apartment, etc. I use a small fan on low in my bedroom. Close your eyes, and imagine yourself staring down a very very very long hallway, and envision the fan about 10 feet down that hallway. Heres where it gets a little tricky. What you want to do, is imagine that sound moving down the hallway, away from you, as you stay at end of the hall. And as it moves away imagine it getting respectively quieter as it would in real life if it were moving away. Continue to move the sound farther and farther, and if you tell your brain its farther, it will sound quieter in your head. Before you know it, you're concentrating so hard on the sound and the hallway, that you've completely forgotten that fact that you cant sleep, and you've passed out. It works like a charm for me, 10-30 seconds and I'm out.
Does that make any sense what so ever?
