I come from an italian family, and we love to eat. So the holidays allow us to get together and eat more than were supposed to.

 

Most holidays disgust me. Like most people. Heh.

I don't celebrate Chirstmas or other chirstial holidays but i have my own holidays i celebrate. I like holidays b/c i get to see the family i don't get to see that often.

 

I like Christmas... This year isn't great though since I'm stuck in San Diego without the fam. I have good friends here and the weather has been great so, whatever.

I absolutely despise Christmas. It has been turned into a posterboy for gross consumerism where it's all about BUY-BUY-BUY! I really can't imagine that Jesus would approve of people fighting over slave-made cheap merchandise at Walmart, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. Screw Christmas, the spirit is dead.

If you dont like the buy buy buy part, then dont make it about that. I wish I was longer, its the only time of the year that my hole family is toughter for 1 day and that doesnt last forever.So you betterenjoy is well you can..unless you hate your family or somthing.

 

I love the holidays, but this was the first year that they really started to try my patience. My parents are divorced, so it's hard to make time to see everyone. Luckily my family and Lori's family live within 45 minutes of each other. Combined we did a total of around 10+ hours or driving. I was just happy that the weather was so nice, that made all the back and forths a little easier to handle.

 

the holidays suck... i only put on a cheery face this year to appease my girlfriend... otherwise i'd have spent christmas eve, and day home, alone, sleeping most likely
